Filters for maintenance and repairs

Filters are a daily ask at an independent counter: someone is doing maintenance, finishing a transmission service, or matching a filter a chain store could not identify. Intex lists filters as a core category and names WIX and MANN Filter on the manufacturers page. We check the application rather than assuming one filter fits a whole engine family.

Transmission work is called out separately because ATP is listed for A/T filter kits and Pro-King for transmission filter kits. If you are dropping a pan, say so — the kit conversation is different from a spin-on filter. We will not claim cabin, fuel, or oil coverage that is not written on those brand lines.

Call (408) 327-1000 with the year, make, model, and engine. If you already have the old filter, the part number on the canister is more useful than a screenshot of a listing. The store is on Old Bayshore Hwy in San Jose, Monday through Saturday during posted hours.
